Program Name: Supply Chain Management

Program Mission: The mission of this program is to prepare qualified and distinguished professionals through academic, practical, and professional training. Our objective is to achieve educational and applied excellence in supply chain management. We aim to equip students for effective participation in response to labor market needs, contribute to the growth of the knowledge economy, and serve the community while adhering to quality standards and academic accreditation. The program keeps pace with contemporary developments by providing a supportive and advanced educational environment, focusing on practical training, and utilizing modern educational methods and technologies.

Program Objectives:

1.  Develop students' theoretical and practical skills in supply chain management and foster creativity in academic and practical performance to adapt to changes in the economic, social, and information environment.
 
2. Support and encourage supply chain workshops and applied training sessions to enhance professional development and the business sector.
  
3.  Strive to implement quality standards and secure academic accreditation.

4.  Enhance the capabilities of faculty members to help achieve the program's vision and mission.

5.  Strengthen local partnerships with the business sector and engage in community service by organizing training courses and continuing education to improve employee efficiency across various sectors, alongside providing consultations related to supply chain management.

6. Introduce students to the legal provisions and ethical considerations surrounding supply chain transactions.

7. Enhance students' practical experience by requiring them to participate in multiple training programs as part of the graduation requirements.

 

Program Duration: Three years (one year of general preparation followed by two years of specialization).

Total Accredited Units Required: 80 accredited study hours.

Academic Levels: The program consists of six academic levels.

Degrees Offered and Duration:
- Training Certificate: Awarded after completing 20 accredited study hours.
- Professional Associate Diploma: Awarded after completing 40 accredited study hours.
- Professional Associate Diploma and  Professional Certificate: Awarded after completing 60 accredited study hours.
- Professional Intermediate Diploma + Professional Certificate: Awarded after completing 80 accredited study hours.

Minor Degree Requirement: A minimum of 20 study hours in introductory specialization courses is required to obtain a minor degree in this program.

Program Description: This specialization involves planning and organizing supply-related tasks within an institution, including the purchasing of raw materials, their delivery to the factory, and the transportation of the final products to customers.

The Northern Borders region, mainly the province of Tarif—recognized as an industrial and commercial development zone—has a significant need for this specialization. This program is expected to impact the development of local institutions positively.

Targeted Careers: Graduates will be prepared for roles in planning and follow-up, sales, purchasing, logistics activities, and production.

Academic Years: The program is structured across three academic years and divided into six levels, including one year of general preparation.
