Overview of the Program

The Event Management and Organization Program at Northern Border University is a modern initiative that will begin admitting students in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This program is notable for offering exit points and training certificates during the semesters, spanning two academic years, along with a six-month training period. It is open to both males and females and awards an intermediate diploma in Event Management and Organization.

Academic plan 

The program lasts for two academic years. In the first semester, students learn foundational subjects, including English language, computer skills, university life skills, and principles of statistics. These courses are designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for event management.

In the second semester, students begin their specialization in Event Management and Organization, studying six subjects:
- English 2
- Principles of Business Administration
- Planning Celebrations and Events
- Principles of Accounting
- Digital Marketing for Events
- Applied Training

These courses provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for success in the field.

In the second year, the curriculum continues with advanced studies. Students will learn:
- Third Level English for Specialization
- Event Design
- Facility Management
- Negotiation Skills

In the fourth level, the subjects include:
- Exhibition and Conference Management
- Security and Safety Management
- Principles of Digital Forensics
- Event Risk Management

In the fifth level, students will explore:
- The Conference Industry
- Hajj and Umrah Management
- Technology in Event Management
- Tourism Management

Additionally, students will undertake a graduation project and further applied training. The aim of the program is to prepare graduates with exceptional professional competencies for the labor market and to qualify them for professional certifications.
