The Strategic Planning Unit is one of the support services units within the Applied College. It is tasked with formulating operational procedures and monitoring the implementation of the college's strategic plans across its departments and functions, all in support of achieving high levels of performance in accordance with quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Aligning the executive and operational plans with the university's objectives.

  2. Ensuring the integration of roles and responsibilities across the college's departments.

  3. Identifying the strategic goals for the college and its departments.

  4. Defining initiatives aligned with these strategic goals.

  5. Establishing appropriate performance indicators to evaluate the objectives of the college's operational plan.

  6. Developing a timeline for the aforementioned tasks, determining progress rates, and identifying challenges on a regular basis.

  7. Preparing the unit's annual report.
